Role name : Scrum Master

Role Description :

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) to ensure efficient team workflow.

  • Support the team in managing product features and backlogs, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Write and maintain user stories, applying Gherkin syntax to define clear acceptance criteria.
  • Utilize prior QA or development experience to actively engage and support the teams product quality and solution delivery.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration between product, QA, and development teams to meet Sprint, Program Increment (PI), and release objectives.
  • Empower the team by removing impediments, encouraging communication, and fostering a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Guide the team in Agile best practices and principles, ensuring consistent and timely delivery.
  • Handle conflict resolution within the team, ensuring constructive resolution of disagreements and maintaining a positive team environment.
  • Build strong relationships with the development team and stakeholders, managing expectations, and providing regular progress updates.

Essential Skills :

6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner.

  • Hands-on experience in QA or development, with a solid understanding of testing or coding practices.
  • Experience in writing user stories and creating Gherkin-based acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with behavior-driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD) practices.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and the ability to coach teams on Agile principles.
  • Experience in conflict management to effectively resolve team issues and maintain productivity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in managing product backlogs and prioritizing features with business objectives in mind.
  • Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM, SAFe) or Product Management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and QA tools such as ALM or similar.
  • Understanding of RESTful web services and Postman is a plus.

Desirable Skills : PSM certification. Banking Domain Experience
