The successful candidate
s may be placed in a full-time temporary or full-time continuing contract for the start of the 2024 / 2025 school year but will have their work scheduled daily from the Scheduling Office.
Successful candidates will be eligible to apply for all internal vacancies during the staffing process; the target date for the spring posting process is mid-to-late April, 2024.
The Contract TTOC's may be required to fill in for long term vacancies. 10 positions are available.100 Mile House and area schools include : Lac la Hache Elementary, Mile 108 Elementary, Forest Grove Elementary, 100 Mile Elementary, Horse Lake Elementary and Peter Skene Ogden Secondary.
Williams Lake and area schools include : Chilcotin Road Elementary, Mountview Elementary, Marie Sharpe Elementary, Nesika Elementary, Cataline Elementary, Lake City - Columneetza Campus (Grades 7-9) and WL Campus (Grades 10-12),150 Mile Elementary, Horsefly Elementary and Big Lake Elementary.
- All successful candidates will have : Current certification with the BC Teacher Regulation Branch and be able to produce a copy of their certification (or the ability to produce certification by the start date);
- The ability to produce a BC TQS for salary placement; The ability to work collaboratively with staff to support student learning and success Strong instructional skills;
- Strong organizational, communication and classroom management skills; The ability to communicate well with students, staff and parents;
The ability to effectively use technology in the classroom setting. The ability to provide three (3) supervisor and / or recent work related references (telephone and email contact information is required) as part of their application.
