As the Associate Director, Corporate Strategy, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's future. You'll work closely with the executive team to develop, implement, and communicate our Strategic Transformation and Performance (STRAP) plan.
You'll ensure our strategic priorities align with company goals and drive effective decision-making. You'll also oversee strategic planning, communication, and implementation to ensure our organization stays ahead of the curve and achieves its objectives.
As Associate Director, Corporate Strategy, you will :
- Strategic Alignment : Align business unit priorities with the organization's strategic plan and ensure effective decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Manage the alignment of cross-functional initiatives to ensure efficient resource utilization and accelerate business outcomes.
- Strategic Communication : Develop and communicate the corporate strategy to employees, ensuring understanding and alignment with desired business outcomes.
- Prioritization and Risk Assessment : Identify and assess key elements of the strategic plan, prioritize initiatives based on market conditions, and recommend actions to the executive team.
- Performance Monitoring : Develop and manage business health monitoring procedures to track annual corporate goals and targets.
- Data Analytics : Integrate data and business analytics to identify opportunities and develop supporting business cases.
- Executive Support : Provide strategic advice to the CEO on matters related to corporate strategy, performance, and issues management.
- Strategic Planning : Lead the development of the GTAA's 10-year strategic plan, including articulating the strategic vision, key priorities, and competitive analysis.
- Scenario Planning : Lead the development and implementation of scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.
- Board and Executive Presentations : Prepare materials and lead presentations for the Board of Directors and Executive Team on strategic matters.
- Team Leadership : Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback.
This is a chance to be on the frontline of history at Toronto Pearson. To do so, you will bring :
- Combination of a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in strategy development, strategic planning, strategic communications, business analytics, airport operations, management consulting or equivalent
- 5+ years of management experience
- Significant experience in working directly with C-suite executive(s) and / or Board of Directors
- Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance
