Job Summary
This position delivers and picks up packages to and from residential and / or commercial properties. He / She performs in a physical, fast-paced environment involving driving, continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages.
He / She practices safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations. This position ensures the best customer service through efficiency and dedication.
Responsibilities :
- Delivers and picks up UPS packages efficiently and effectively.
- Learns and properly executes UPS safe driving methods.
Location : 2281 Stevenage Drive Ottawa ON
Qualifications :
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. / 32 kgs.
- Complies with UPS appearance guidelines
- Excellent customer contact and driving skills
- Ability to read and navigate with map books
- Class 3 license required
- Clean Driver’s Abstract showing :
a) No accidents and no demerit points for the previous 3 year period (last 36 months)
b) No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3 year period (last 36 months)
Compensation :
- Wage 16.00$ / hr
- 27.63 per hour top rate, unionized position
- Paid weekly via direct deposit
- Paid training
- Employee discounts
- Benefits after 1 year of employment
