As a daycare educator, you support the development and fulfillment of young children. You will assist the educators in setting up stimulating activities, ensure a safe and caring environment, and promote positive social interactions.

Location : Montreal, Quebec
Work hours : Opening hours of the Garderie LaSalle des petits : Monday to Friday, from 7 : 30 a.m. to 6 : 30 p.m. and from 6 : 30 p.m. to 11 : 30 p.m.
Status : On-Call - Temporary
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support educators in the implementation of programs aimed at the overall development of children;
- Facilitate various activities;
- Prepare and serve snacks;
- Set up rooms and furniture for lunch and naps;
- Help children develop good eating, toileting and dressing habits;
- Ensure the maintenance of daycare equipment and participate in household chores and cooking food;
- Discuss children's progress and challenges with other staff;
- May assist educators and supervisors with record keeping;
- All other related tasks related to early childhood.
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluency in English and French, both oral and written, and a third language, an asset : Portuguese, Mandarin or Spanish;
- Flexibility in terms of schedules;
- Interest in working with children.
This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
