The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following :
- Manage the tender and quantity take off process on multiple estimating projects
- Deal directly with sub-trades in preparation of tender documents
- Work with the Pre-Construction Director and leadership to close tenders and proposals
- Manage the transition of the successful project estimating to the project management team for execution
- All other responsibilities as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following :
- 10 years of experience within the GTA GC interiors and health care sectors
- Experience estimating projects in the scope of $1M - $20M;
- Local market experience with good trade relations;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to run the entire estimating process from pre-qualifications, to initial quantity takeoffs, preliminary project schedules, and through to closing the tender
- Strong software application skills
- Willingness to maintain technical knowledge through professional development, education workshops and reviewing technical publications.
