DESCRIPTION
The incumbent assists one or more professionals, or a work team, in their administrative and professional duties. They
perform a variety of office or management tasks according to complex methods and procedures already in place or that they
modify as required. Their primary and usual duties include the preparation and processing of files or data requiring specific
knowledge. They may also perform clerical work.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Contact patients to inform them of upcoming appointment(s) outside of their community to one of Wiichihiituwin
service points (Montreal, Val-d'Or, Chibougamau and Chisasibi).* Enter the information needed to plan the patient's travel to their appointment(s) (e.
g., mode of transport, housing,
escort, etc.).* Work jointly with liaison nurses (CMC and Wiichihiituwin) as well as dispatch teams to ensure the patient / escort's
safety and the smooth flow of operations.* Contact patients to confirm their appointment(s) and, if necessary, notify the dispatch team and liaison nurses of
any changes.* Cover the line 1800 and customer services for the clientele coming from the 9 Cree communities to the
Wiichihiituwin points of service (formerly known as Cree Patients Services).
Handle inbound calls, provide general information and guidance to Wiichihiituwin clients, and, when needed,
redirect communications to the appropriate department and / or Wiichihiituwin site.* Assist Wiichihiituwin users with their inquiries and effectively resolve issues or concerns.
Ensure appropriate follow-through of inquiries is being done and that emergency situations are raised to the
immediate supervisor.* If necessary, support the teams of the different Wiichihiituwin sites.* Perform any other related task assigned by the immediate supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Education : High school diploma.
High school diploma.
Knowledge and skills :
- Good knowledge of conventional clerical work;
- Good knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel);
- Familiar with medical terminology;
- Courteous;
- Team player;
- Autonomous, flexible and discreet;
- Able to work under pressure and independently with very little supervision;
- Responsible, attentive, self-motivated;
- Pragmatic, detail-oriented, analytical, proactive;
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken);
- Customer service-oriented;
- Knowledge of the MSSS network and administrative rules (an asset).
LANGUAGES
Fluency in the Cree language, in English and in French (mandatory).

- This position includes on-call periods.

- All JBNQA Cree beneficiary hired to work for the Wiichihiituwin direction either at the Montreal or the Val d'Or or
the Chibougamau point of service are entitled to the following benefits :
o Isolation premium based on their affiliate community
o Retention premium (if applicable)
o Reimbursement of the moving and storage fees
o Three (3) or four (4) return flights per year for the employee and their dependants to go back to their affiliate
community via CBHSSJB's charters, according to the collective agreement.
