Position : Licensed Practical Nurse
Duration : 2 years
Pay : $44 / hr
Shift : Day Shift 6 AM-6 : 30 PM OR 8 : 30 AM - 6 : 30 PM
Key Responsibilities :
Execute nursing care, treatment, and services in a professional and prescribed manner within the scope of your license.
Ensure a safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment for residents.
Provide diverse nursing care for infirm residents.
Observe and report resident behavior and physical condition.
Administer medical treatment and intervention according to the care plan.
Act as a lead or perform limited supervision as assigned.
Collaborate with an RN or physician under their supervision.
Oversee the functions of other LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants if designated as the charge nurse.
Skills Required :
Proficiency in practical nursing methods and techniques.
Ability to observe and report resident progress and behavior.
Familiarity with State and agency laws and regulations governing geriatric nursing practices.
Collaborative participation in the development and implementation of patient care plans within a team nursing concept.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Experience Required :
Minimum of 1+ year(s) experience in a Skilled Nursing / Long-term Care facility.
Education and Licensing :
Active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Arizona.
Valid state-issued driver's license (may be required for State duty).
Fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Compliance with vaccination requirements as outlined in CMS Interim Final Rule.
Current Negative TB skin test (Mantoux skin test) within the last 6 months or a physician's statement indicating freedom from tuberculosis.
