Ready for something new and meaningful? Use your Experience and Teach! We (Discovery Community College) have an opening for an onsite Instructor in our Community Support Worker program based from our Surrey campus.
This would be an evening and weekend cohort : Tuesday & Thursday 5 : 30pm to 9 : 30pm Saturday 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm Wage range for this position would be $31 / hr to $33 / hr depending on experience You will instruct courses in the CSW program within the guidelines, and using the curriculum and mentoring provided by the college.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE : Applicants must have : Certificate related to community support work AND 24 months of related occupational experience OR 10 years of related occupational experience Previous teaching experience would be an asset, and good computer knowledge (Excel, Microsoft Teams etc) would be essential.
