The Sales & Front of House Supervisor will build strong, ongoing relationships with community organizations, contributing to event management and sales growth.
This individual will work closely with the Senior Marketing & Event Manager and the General Manager to drive business success through teamwork and strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have an energetic, proactive approach and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities :
Event Sales & Management : Collaborate with the Senior Event & Marketing Manager to book, plan, and execute large parties and events.
Provide personalized guest accommodations to ensure successful events.
- Shift Leadership : Actively lead shifts, supporting the senior leadership team in achieving budgetary and operational goals.
- Guest Satisfaction : Ensure complete guest satisfaction and establish strong guest connections during each shift.
- Team Morale : Contribute to a positive team environment by motivating and supporting team members throughout the shift.
- Problem Solving : Address guest concerns, compliments, and ensure resolutions are aligned with company values.
- Marketing & Community Outreach : Represent Chop Steakhouse as a brand ambassador in marketing and social media efforts.
Create new ideas, manage online sentiment, and engage media representatives for community outreach.
- Administrative Oversight : Maintain the contact database, manage event bookings, and submit weekly sales and outreach tracking sheets.
- Business Reporting : Report areas of opportunity based on guest feedback and sales performance to the management team.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
- Event planning experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of sales, marketing, and public relations within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, OpenTable, and Tripleseat (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Outgoing personality with a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is an asset.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs.
Schedule :
The Full Time Sales & Front of House Supervisor is expected to work a flexible schedule, which will typically include 5 shifts per week, across both day and evening shifts.
A normal work week may resemble the following :
- Weekdays : 3 to 4 shifts, a mix of day and evening shifts, to oversee regular operations and support sales initiatives.
- Weekends : 1 to 2 shifts (typically evenings), focused on peak business periods and events.
Please note that the schedule is subject to change based on business needs and event requirements, particularly during high-demand periods or special events.
Flexibility in availability is key to ensuring business and guest satisfaction.

Total Compensation : $21 / HR
plus commissions on incremental sales booked by the Sales and Front of House Supervisor
