We are seeking an RF and Analog DesignEngineer to contribute to the development of multitens of GHzTransimpedance amplifiers TIAs.
These optical interface chips aretightly coupled with our highperformance equalizers. The results ofthese innovative designs have made our client TIAs best in classfor coherent longhaul and metro systems as well as PAM4 data centersystems.
Hybrid 2 daysa week minimum in office
In this role you will be responsiblefor :
- Active circuit designas well as technicalleadership.
- Design leading edgetransimpedance amplifier design primarily in Silicon Germanium(SiGe) BiCMOS (Bipolar Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)technology where circuit performance will need to transcend beyondindustry leading products.
- Developtransmission line structures and other millimeter wave structuresto enable higher performance than would normally beachievable.
- Design of hiperformancebroadband analog circuits for optical frontendreceivers.
- Design of various otheranalog circuits including linear regulators AGC loopcurrent / voltage sensors bandgapsetc.
- Develop microarchitecture ofmajor circuit blocks and guide team of designers to implement them.Work with various technologies including SiGe BiCMOS andCMOS.
- Work with other functionalgroups to facilitate postsilicon validation qualificationtransition to mass production and customersupport.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering in the areas ofdesign of highperformance RF / Analog Receiver / TIAdesign and 10 15 years experience Or MSc EE Or PhDEE with 5 years of experience in the areas of design ofhighperformance RF / Analog Receiver / TIAdesign .
- Proven experience in IC design including chiptapeout AND lab evaluation of receiver design working in theindustry.
- Solid experiencein.
- Using EDA CADtools
- Performing Analog CustomLayout
- Experiencein measuring IC performance and debug of design to correlatesimulations to measurements
- Deepunderstanding of fundamentalsincluding :
- Detailed transistor leveldesign
- Devicephysics
- Control / Feedback loopstabilityanalysis
- Directproject experience in at least one of the following areas is aplus :
- AGC loopdesign
- High precision analog circuits(Including linear regulators current sensors bandgaps andDAC / ADC)
- Experience in CTLEdesign
- Experiencein PackageSystem integration issuesdesired
- Project experience in usingdifferent technologies. (SiGe BiCMOS is aplus)
- Ateamplayer
- Experience in thefollowing is a strong plus :
- Overseeingand mentoring junior circuitdesigners
- Experience as chip leadwith success in silicon
- Experiencein taking chips to mass production
- Ability to translate chip levelspecifications intoarchitecture
