McCann Canada is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Digital Solutions team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering actionable insights to our clients through data-driven storytelling.

The Senior Analyst implements and oversees measurement tools across a breadth of marketing channels to gauge the effectiveness of our tactics.
This role is also responsible for translating the data gathered into holistic learnings that will guide future strategies and campaigns.
The right person for the role has a penchant for understanding user journeys and can transform raw data into an easy-to-understand narrative for our client partners.
What You Will Do...
- Data Analysis : Analyze campaign performance data across multiple channels (e.g., web, email, app, and social) to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Reporting : Identify key metrics (KPIs) and develop easy-to-understand dashboards and reporting frameworks using Google Looker (formerly Data Studio) to communicate results to internal teams and clients.
- Optimization : Evaluate the effectiveness of digital tactics and provide actionable guidance for optimization.
- Storytelling & Communication : Translate complex multi-channel data and user behaviour findings into clear, compelling stories for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Insights & Learnings : partner with agency teams to communicate data-driven insights that inform campaign planning and creative development.
- Deadline Management : Proven ability to manage both internal and external deadlines while maintaining the highest quality reporting and insights.
- Data Collection & Tool Evaluation : Identify opportunities to apply new analytical approaches or tools to address business challenges and drive innovation.
- Knowledge Transfer and Mentorship : Support junior team members by reviewing work, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Educate and Inform : Maintain knowledge of digital trends within the industry and help educate the broader team.
Who you will be
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in an analytics or measurement focused client service role in an agency or fast-paced organization.
- Experience measuring the performance of a broad set of channels including web, email, social, app, and offline.
- Experience implementing and maintaining Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics is required.
- Experience building dashboards with Google Looker (formerly Data Studio) is required.
- Experience with additional analytics platforms (i.e. Adobe Analytics) or alternate visualization dashboards (i.e. Power BI) is considered an asset.
- Experience with Google Web Console, SEMRush, or other SEO metrics and strategies is considered an asset.
- Highly detail-oriented and can synthesize information from multiple perspectives and sources to make specific recommendations that align consumer and business needs.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experienced team player with demonstrated mentoring abilities.
- Solid understanding the evolving digital marketing landscape.
