Job Summary :
Looking for a self-motivated individual that is looking to develop their product management skills as a technical Junior Business Analyst within our AssetWorks GPS / Telematics division.
As the Junior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the design of the work and ensuring customer satisfaction of product delivery.
This position will collaborate with the professional services team in assisting the product manager in specification reviews to ensure that customer milestone commitments align with the product release cycle.
Job Description :
ESSETIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gathering requirements from the professional services team in order to review and work with the product manager to design solutions for product enhancements.
- Perform testing of new functionality prior to release
- Facilitate demonstration of functionality to appropriate stakeholders and delivery to professional services as a formal handoff
- Ensure supporting documentation is created / modified prior to product release, which may include writing end-user documentation and release notes.
- Coordinate with professional services and / or customer care as needed, to support questions related to functionality within realm of responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or a certificate from a technical training institute
- Minimum 1 year of Business and / or Product analyst experience
- Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective listening, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Data visualization and modeling skills
- Successful time management and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Be a productive team member supporting a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both as an individual and as part of a team
- Passion for technology
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (preferred) or similar productivity suite
- Demonstrated knowledge of all phases of product lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems by turning requirements into specs, designs, and prototypes.
- Able to collaborate with and challenge product managers to solidify requirements and build appropriate designs.
- Atlassian tool experience highly desirable, specifically Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Sketch web design application (bonus)
- Vehicle fleet operations experience (bonus)
