Hello, I am Melissa, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment agency specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll positions.
I handle two types of recruitment : temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.I am currently searching, on behalf of my client, a company located on the East end of Montreal, for an accounting analyst.
This is a permanent position on site.Your responsibilities :
- Ensuring accurate accounting records for the designated region,
- Performing bank reconciliations to ensure alignment,
- Preparing and presenting monthly and annual financials statements,
- Provide regular financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities,
- Performing month-end / year-end close related tasks,
- Participating in various continuous improvement projects to optimize processes and reduce the production cycle time of financial information,
- Developing and preparing various value-added financial analysis
- Ensuring compliance with tax obligations by preparing and submitting tax returns in accordance with applicable tax laws.
- Collaborating with other departments to obtain necessary information and resolve accounting issues.
- Handling audit demands by collaborating with external auditors, providing necessary documentations, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Working closely with Business Unit (BU) partners to understand their business, helping them understand their financial drivers, and challenge their assumptions.

- University degree in accounting or finance.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel.
- Autonomy, attention to detail, analytical skills, and a sense of responsibility.
