Your Role
As Operational Care Specialist you are responsible for planning, preparing and processing operational tasks with high standards and consistency of accuracy and attention to details, you will liase with internal and external stakeholders to ensure carrier selection, routing, transit time, temperature requirements are managed
Your Responsibilities
- Your responsibility is to communicate , negotiate with airlines, trucker, warehouses, Kuehne-Nagel suppliers and colleagues across Canada, you will provide solutions in case of any discrepancies, holds or delays in the movement of goods.
- You ensure neutrality and high operational quality across all Canadian branches, Manage high export volumes and all Air Logistics Products.
- Compliant with and follow Air 2.0 AE Methodology and Procedures.
- Follow Operations policies, procedures, SOP and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
- Buying Rate negotiation with airlines, truckers, other service providers for cost management, to maximum profit on shipment file level
- Ensure Airfreight operating cost / buying rate is uploaded in the file in Airlog operating system with accuracy and timeliness.
- Liaise with OCC supervisor, manager for operational issues.
- Attention to details, capability in effective prioritization, shipment execution with high efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.
- Anticipate, Identity and Rectify any exceptions and take proactive actions to recover issues

Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or similar field
- 3+ years of Air Logistics Imports and Freight Forwarding experience
- Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel)
- Knowledge on Temperature Controlled pharmaceutical products is a plus
- Knowledge on Incoterms and Air transportation regulations is a must
- CIFFA certificate is preferred
