Established manufacturer of high-quality cabinetry for primarily new build and renovation residential projects is seeking a proven sales professional to represent our operation to residential builders and other industry stakeholders.

We are a proven provider of whole house solutions for both single family and multifamily projects. We have a well-established brand serving the lower mainland as well as other key regions of BC and Washington.

As a fully integrated user of advanced design, production and administrative technologies we reliably produce high quality cabinetry / millwork product on time and on budget.

With recent investments to further expand our production capacity we are positioned to expand our client base across the Pacific Northwest.

This is a full-time, key role on our sales team, reporting to our General Manager. You must enjoy working in a fast-paced sales environment among a team of professionals.

This is a senior, commission-based, sales position requiring you to generate kitchen cabinet sales, make outbound calls to connect with builders and architects as well as to farm and close leads.

The position is newly crafted and offers a substantial opportunity for earnings growth.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Identify and establish new client base, including Builders / Contractors, Remodelers, Homeowners, Architects, Designers and Dealers
  • Achieve sales goals, gross margin expectations and profitability targets
  • Study and stay current on design and style trends, understanding industry trends in cabinet design, color, materials and hardware
  • Set appointments and meet with clients to select cabinets and create design in office or offsite, at job sites and in builders’ offices
  • Consult with clients before and after the sale to answer questions and provide ongoing support for projects
  • Assist clients in dealing with cabinet / kitchen design issues culminating in sales
  • Pricing, ordering, contracting, scheduling, inspection and payment collection

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Residential Cabinetry sales.
  • Working knowledge of a cabinet design program (eg. CabinetVision, Mozaik, Microvellum)
  • Strong project management skills; attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
  • Proven abilities in lead generation, sales prospecting and relationship building.
  • Superb customer service and communication skills
  • Cooperative attitude with other team members

This is a full-time contract position with a focus on new sales generation. Compensation is $20 base / hour plus commission on all sales generated.

Hours for this role are flexible with a focus on standard Monday-Friday availability to dialog with clients and industry stakeholders.

Evenings or weekend availability would only be required during a sales related event.
