The Senior Financial Analyst is the Finance Business Partner supporting both PMO & Product and is responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and analyzing of data to support the IS forecasting and budgeting process.
Overall responsibilities include financial reporting, KPI reporting, preparation of all financial data for the Executive Steering Committee packages, reporting on project expenditures, increasing forecasting accuracy and analyzing trends.
Creation of reporting tools to assist in ongoing analysis and dissemination of information will be required. This role will work closely with IS and acts as a liaison between IS and Finance.
Key Responsibilities :
Generate monthly financial analysis, KPI, Project Steering Committee packages, scorecard and reports on project expenditures
Prepare budget, forecast and long-term projections to ensure the organization meets its financial targets
Supports the Director PMO to build the annual program budget for submission to Finance
Responsible for the accuracy of actuals used by Project Managers and Director PMO. Responsibilities including having a continuous improvement methodology that incorporates comments and feedback from Project Managers and other stakeholders
Develop and maintain moderately-complex modeling and data analysis for corporate and departmental use. Responsibilities include;
testing, validation of data assumptions & approach and pricing to customers
Conduct financial analysis, trend analysis, gathering & maintaining of data for dissemination to the PMs and as required, to support SLT / ELT insights and decision making
Supports PM’s & Resource Managers with forecasting and facilitates alignment meetings ensuring accuracy in the forecast
Supports Delivery Managers, Resource Managers & Executive sponsors in creating required financial analysis submitted with Change Requests
Collect feedback from the users of the Forecasting & Change Request processes and identify the need to modify based on the feedback.
Verifies capture of acceptance / signoff on Change Requests.
Supports stakeholders and performs what if analysis where multiple options exist for projects & portfolios
Qualifications :
College Diploma or Undergrad Degree in in Finance or Accounting
5 years of Financial Analyst experience, with solid technical and analytical skills
Computer or Other Skills :
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)

Understanding of capital expenditure principles (CAPEX / OPEX)
