Job Summary :
As a Sales Associate at Safeway, you will deliver excellent customer service, assist with sales and product inquiries, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist customers, answering questions about products and promotions.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and ensure displays are visually appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned sections of the store.
- Follow company policies and safety standards.
- Support team members with tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to a few pounds.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
