Job Description
We are searching for a Photo Studio Assistant to join our in-house creative team. As part of our ever-growing company, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our photo studio.
Reporting to the Creative Design Manager, you will support our photographer by preparing products for shoots, assisting with styling and setup, managing digital assets, and maintaining studio organization.
Your attention to detail and proactive approach will create stunning visuals that will help us meet our goals, reinforcing and expanding the Linen Chest brand and ensuring consistency across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare products for daily shoots, including steaming and arranging, and assist with preliminary lighting setup.
- Support styling and placement of products during shoots to ensure alignment with the Studio Style Guide.
- Unpack and organize new stock, update task statuses in Monday.com, and manage digital assets on the Desktop and Dropbox.
- Attend priority meetings and contribute to studio organization and cleanup on a weekly basis.
- Monitor and enhance the efficiency of high-volume shooting processes, and assist with photo editing as needed.
- Provide support during campaign shoots, including equipment setup and product preparation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role or a strong interest in basic photography and studio operations
- Creative, detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in digital asset management (experience with a PIM an asset)
- Experience in photo and video editing an asset (including Photoshop and Lightroom software)
- Styling skills an asset
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and ability to adapt to change when necessary with a positive attitude
- Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication
