Tasks
- Assemble parts and components according to the company's plans and standards.
- Verify and identify the locations of parts and components.
- Identify electronic and electrical components.
- Assemble electronic and electrical components.
- Read and interpret plans.
- Perform assembly following the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) process.
- Adjust, use, and operate an SMT machine and wave soldering machine as needed.
- Bend and cut parts according to requirements.
- Perform final inspection of PCBs and make necessary corrections as needed.
- Perform quality control.
- Solder using brazing techniques as needed.
- Install, mount, secure, align, and adjust components, wiring, and brackets using hand tools.
- Inspect work, materials, equipment, and everything related to the assembly using a microscope and automated equipment.
- Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements
- High school diploma.
- IPC-A-610 certification (asset).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic assembly and PCBs.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a quality inspector in the electronics field (asset).
- Experience in soldering with brazing or tin.
- Experience in reading plans and specifications.
- General understanding of component plans and documents.
- Experience with SMT machines and wave soldering machines.
- Ability to perform manual tasks and inspections with a microscope, as well as to handle and work with very small parts.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French.
