Our client is a growing real estate developer and is looking to add a Senior Property Manager to oversee and optimize daily operations for a portfolio that includes commercial, residential, and multi-use buildings.

About the Role :

In this position, you’ll be responsible for leading a variety of property management functions, from tenant relations and leasing activities to financial oversight and property maintenance.

You’ll work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and a high-quality experience for tenants. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with a solid background in property management who’s ready to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement marketing and leasing strategies to attract tenants for residential units.
  • Showcase available suites to prospective tenants, screen applications, and negotiate lease terms.
  • Collect monthly rents, address any issues with delinquency, and manage late payment processes.
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections, ensuring tenant compliance with lease terms.
  • Maintain comprehensive tenant files and transaction records, including rent rolls, delinquency reports, and inspection checklists.
  • Oversee property maintenance, including tenant requests, service contracts, landscaping, and snow removal.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, budgets, lease renewals, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Act promptly and efficiently in response to community emergencies to minimize liabilities.

What You’ll Bring :

  • 3+ years of experience in property management, with a proven track record of managing diverse property types.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent people and conflict resolution skills to effectively manage tenant relationships.
  • Creativity and problem-solving abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to new challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and YARDI
