Job Overview :
We seek a detail-oriented and creative individual for the Landscape Estimator / Designer role. In this position, you will accurately estimate project costs, collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences and create visually appealing and functional landscape designs.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough site assessments to gather information for accurate project estimates.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
- Utilize industry-standard software for landscape design to create visually compelling and functional outdoor spaces.
- Work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction methods to contribute innovative ideas to the design process.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture / LAT, Horticulture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in landscape estimating and design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of local plant species, hardscape materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a solid ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes.
Job Type : Full-time
Salary : $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year; experience level will be considered for the final offer.
