Job Description

Candidates will be working on the processing floor of the expansion at a facility in Lethbridge. Responsibilities include assisting with cable pulls, building cable trays, combining and terminating cables, and installing electrical equipment such as junction boxes, electrical cabinets, and electrical support hardware.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cable pulls and building cable trays
• Combine and terminate cables
• Install electrical equipment such as junction boxes, electrical cabinets, and electrical support hardware
• Work on industrial electrical tasks, including controls work
• Lead teams if required

Essential Skills

• 3rd Year Electrician OR above ideally
• Experience with electrical, cable tray, pulling cable, and industrial electrician tasks
• Ability to travel to the site
• Comfortable working indoors
• Fall Protection and AWP Tickets
• Experience in industrial electrical and construction work

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with processing and automation controls
• Experience working with instrumentation
• 4-5 years of industrial experience

Work Environment

The project duration is roughly 2 months, with a possibility for extension for standout candidates. Candidates from Calgary will receive $150 / day for LOA expenses.

Work is on the processing floor, entirely indoors in a heated environment. The schedule is 6 days on, 1 day off, with 10-hour workdays (8 hours regular time, 2 hours overtime).

Two 30-minute breaks at 10 am and 2 pm. Working hours are from 7 am to 5 pm daily. Candidates will be part of a team of 30, reporting to several foremen / team leads on-site. Joureyman rate $40 / hr
