Our financial services client is seeking a permanent HR Business Partner to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading HR initiatives, driving talent management, and enhancing organizational development. They will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with business goals, fostering a high-performance culture.

This is a hybrid position, located in Downtown Montreal.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals to enhance performance and employee engagement.
  • Oversee recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and workforce planning.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding programs to ensure smooth employee transitions.
  • Lead talent management initiatives, including performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Partner with leadership to assess workforce capabilities and implement development programs.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, coaching managers on performance issues and workplace policies.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and promotion processes to maintain competitive and fair practices.
  • Advise senior leadership on HR-related matters and workforce trends.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies while supporting employee mobility and career growth.
  • Drive organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • 5-7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-SCP) is an asset.
  • Fully Bilingual in French and English.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior executives to drive HR strategies and resolve complex challenges.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills to drive change and build engagement.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities at all organizational levels.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential matters.

  • Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies RH alignées sur les objectifs d'affaires afin d'améliorer la performance et l'engagement des employés.
  • Superviser le recrutement, y compris la recherche de candidats, les entrevues et la planification de la main-d'œuvre.
  • Gérer les programmes d'intégration et de départ des employés pour assurer des transitions harmonieuses.
  • Diriger les initiatives de gestion des talents, y compris la gestion de la performance, le développement du leadership et la planification de la relève.
  • Collaborer avec les dirigeants pour évaluer les compétences de la main-d'œuvre et mettre en œuvre des programmes de développement.
  • Fournir des conseils sur les relations avec les employés, en coachant les gestionnaires sur les problèmes de performance et les politiques en milieu de travail.
  • Superviser les processus de rémunération, d'avantages sociaux et de promotions afin de maintenir des pratiques compétitives et équitables.
  • Conseiller la haute direction sur les questions liées aux RH et aux tendances de la main-d'œuvre.

  • Qualifications :

  • 5 à 7 ans d'expérience progressive en RH, dont au moins 3 ans dans un rôle de leadership.
  • Baccalauréat en ressources humaines, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Une certification en RH (par exemple, CRHA, SHRM-SCP) est un atout.
  • Bilinguisme complet en français et en anglais.
  • Capacité avérée à collaborer avec des cadres supérieurs pour mettre en œuvre des stratégies RH et résoudre des défis complexes.
  • Solides compétences en leadership et en influence pour mener le changement et favoriser l'engagement.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en développement de relations à tous les niveaux organisationnels.
  • Grande intégrité, professionnalisme et discrétion dans le traitement des informations confidentielles.
