Job description
Company Description Q-Drilling, growing company looking to expand. Based in middle Sackville Nova Scotia. Competitive pay based off experience level. (902 830 2289) Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental / Geotech Driller located in Halifax, NS. The Environmental / Geotech Driller will be responsible for operating heavy drilling equipment to extract core samples, conducting drilling operations, and performing inspections. The role includes following safety protocols, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with the project team to ensure successful completion of drilling operations. Qualifications Skills in operating heavy drilling equipment Experience with inspection protocols, particularly in pre-trip vehicle inspections Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with clients Attention to detail and a commitment to safety practices Candidates with previous experience in environmental or geotechnical drilling are preferred Relevant licenses are a requirement, class 3 is preferred
