Make an impact within our Indigenous Services team as a Manager, Capital Projects. Responsibilities

Lead the management of local contractors, ensuring effective scheduling, resource allocation, change orders, and quality control for timely project delivery

Partner with engineers, subcontractors, community members, and leadership to weave community preferences and cultural values into housing designs

• Collaborate with Housing, Infrastructure, and relevant leads to ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations while respecting cultural guidelines
• Interpret engineering plans and specifications, conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly
• Oversee project budgets, handling cost estimation and financial tracking to ensure accountability and transparency.
• Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status and seek clarification on discrepancies where applicable
• Establish collaborative and effective working relationships with clients and project delivery teams
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and community leaders, fostering open communication
• Opportunity to travel to client sites as required
