Key Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations, ensuring that every aspect—from service to ambiance—reflects the unique blend of class and comfort that defines State & Main.
  • Support and motivate a team of dedicated individuals, fostering a culture of excellence and genuine hospitality.
  • Help implement the wine program, assisting in training your team to confidently recommend and serve our selection.
  • Monitor financials and manage inventory in collaboration with the General Manager to drive profitability and efficiency.
  • Engage with guests, helping build strong relationships and ensuring every visit is memorable.
  • Contribute to new service concepts and initiatives that enhance the guest experience and drive repeat business.
  • Qualifications :

  • 1-2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or bar setting, with a demonstrated ability to lead and support a team.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and the ability to contribute effectively to service excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Proven experience in assisting with financial management, including budgeting, inventory control, and cost analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to support the implementation of operational standards and procedures while maintaining a positive team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with guests and team members.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to handle operational challenges efficiently and professionally.
  • Passion for the restaurant industry and a keen interest in further developing leadership skills, with aspirations to advance to a General Manager role.
