Director, Operational Finance, we are looking for an Assistant Financial Controller, Minerals North America to join us as a strategic business partner.

As the new Assistant Financial Controller, you will be a strategic financial partner, working closely with business leaders across the Minerals Business Unit to provide insights that drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

Your role will focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability.

You will monitor key financial and operational metrics, ensure accurate revenue recognition and work-in-progress (WIP) validation, and oversee financial controls for capital expenditures, receivables, and payables.

Additionally, you will contribute to strategic planning, process improvements, and compliance oversight, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.

This is a full-time hybrid role that involves working 2-3 days per week in our Vancouver office.

You will coordinate year-end audits and oversee audit preparations to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

You will audit workflow processes to verify that all accounting transactions are appropriately authorized.

You will investigate and justify expenditures and expense reports, ensuring financial discipline.

You will maintain vendor and client relations, supporting efficient financial operations.
