They will ensure compliance to security standards and regulations and conduct investigations in a professional, legal, ethical, and efficient manner. Essential Duties

Key responsibilities will include :

• Protect all company assets and reduce losses.
• Investigate unlawful acts of employees or patrons of company locations.
• Recommend security systems such as electronic detection devices and access devices.
• Obtain information for use in civil and criminal litigation matters or for other purposes.
• Plan and lead efficient investigations using team resources and equipment in a safe, legal, and ethical manner while following company policy and procedures. This may require collaboration with Area Loss Prevention to accomplish department directives.
• Maintain Investigations records, ensuring all reports and files are completed to company standard and within policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of any issues related to the company or loss prevention department.
• Participate in the development and completion of Loss Prevention audits to detect internal losses, Organized Retail Crime activity, and policy and procedure breakdowns.
• Travel to any company location or on behalf of company to industry events when required.
• Be cognizant of and report incidents which could adversely affect the morale of employees.
• Attend, and train others on requirements for attending court and legal proceedings; provide testimony as directed or requested by the Courts.
• Report any policy breaches, procedural errors, or performance issues to Loss Prevention management immediately.
• Meet company, team, and individual goals and expectations for performance and quality of work for all duties as assigned by Investigations Management, or Assistant General Manager of Loss Prevention.
