JOB DESCRIPTION
AAA Canada is looking for an AME Mechanics with experience to join our team. He will be responsible for checking and maintaining the condition of aircraft, and engine, makes repairs, replacements and adjustments, in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
Responsibilities
- The AME / Technician is responsible for checking and maintaining the condition of aircraft and engine, makes repairs, replacements and adjustments, in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
- S / he is accountable to the Production Manager for completing work assigned by the Lead Hand or Production Manager. The AME / Technician will ensure that all work is done in accordance with the policies and procedures defined locally and by Transport Canada.
- Complete verification inspections, if trained, as directed by Lead Hand / Production Manager and maintain integrity of all issued documents.
- Interpret blueprints / specifications / standards and written technical instructions and bring forth any questions to the lead.
- Ensure shop area and tools are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Work with manager and coworkers to understand “the big picture”. Make any necessary adjustments to best achieve targets, including informing others of issues that might affect their targets.
- Disassemble, inspect, record discrepancies, recommend and record methods of repair
- Install, rig and carry out all other mechanical functions and test in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
