- Drive and operate ramp-servicing vehicles and equipment
- Load cargo and passenger baggage efficiently
- Oversee the service provided is in line with standards, including maximization of available space, load control, safety and ad hoc flight instruction
- Sort cargo and passenger baggage according to instructions
- Position passenger loading stairs and operate aircraft cargo doors
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
- Unload, sort and route cargo and passenger baggage
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Test equipment to locate transmission faults
