We are currently seeking a Technical Solutions Architect (Remote) to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

Reporting to the Director of Software Architecture, with matrix reporting to the client's Chief Technology Officer, the Enterprise Architects work

closely with IT and business leadership to align technical solutions with business needs. This role will bridge the gap between system

design, technical architecture, business processes, support, and operations. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for providing end-to-end conceptual solutions to business case ideas and present them to stakeholders. In doing so, the solutions architect will partner closely with business stake holders to understand the vision and translate it to a conceptual architecture. The client for this engagement is a large healthcare insurance payer in New England. NTT DATA has an established and preferred vendor relationship with the client.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership for planning, designing, and implementing an enterprise architecture strategy, and implementation approach.
  • Acquire a working knowledge of the architecture of existing on premise systems, and assist in documenting them in SharePoint

  • Contributes to enterprise architecture strategy and road map
  • Actively participate and present in Architecture Review Board activities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, prototype solutions, and evaluate processes for inclusion in the technology road map.
  • Create and maintain architecture policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with a team of architects and participate in various governance committees and review boards.
  • Identify system inter-dependencies and develop migration plans.
  • Provide architectural input of projects ensuring requirements are in alignment with IT and business architecture.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce overall IT costs and evaluate ongoing investment in technology to promote innovation and advancement

    • of the client's strategic goals and mission.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

    • Basic Qualifications :

    8-10 years’ experience as an IT professional with deep understanding of n-Tier system architecture

    1+ Years of Solution Architect-Solution Architecture-SOA

    Skills Required :

  • Strong working knowledge of portals, Java EE, and Angular / Ionic technologies, SOAP / REST Services and knowledge of microservices
  • Working knowledge of JMS based applications integration concepts, tools, and technologies
  • Working knowledge of data integration concepts and relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server
  • Solid understanding of big data concepts, tools, and technologies
  • Solid understanding of security concepts across the tiers including applications, integration, and data
  • Demonstrated ability in setting corporate architectural directions aligned with strategic business need
  • Working knowledge of EA modelling tools

    • Nice to have :

  • Azure or AWS cloud integration with on-prem systems
  • UX and UI design experience
  • Architecture Governance rationalization and toolsets
  • Strong knowledge in microservices architecture
  • Working knowledge of application integration tools such as TIBCO, Mulesoft, Oracle SOA etc
  • Working knowledge of Data integration tools such as Informatica, Datastage
  • Experience with Healthcare industry and health care data standards (HIPAA, HL7) is strongly preferred
