We are currently accepting applications for the position of : Senior Enterprise Network & Cyber Security Architect Position Type : Permanent effective Immediately Salary Range - $79,890 - $104,939 POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Manager, Network Infrastructure, Cyber Security & Telecommunications, the Senior Enterprise Network & Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for the implementation and administration of hardware, software, processes and procedures for network and security control infrastructure systems within DPCDSB, with a focus on cyber-security management.
The incumbent manages and supports network hardware, software, and security devices, performs periodic and on-demand system assessments and vulnerability assessments, including user accounts, application access, file system and external web integrity scans to determine compliance.
The individual ensures system hardware, operating systems, software, and related procedures adhere to recognized industry practices and organizational values, enabling staff, students, and partners to fulfill their roles securely.
QUALIFICATIONS BASIC QUALIFICATIONS : University degree in Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the IT Security and Network field is required.
Security certification such as CISSP, SSCP required. Certifications in multiple technology areas with an active Cisco CCNP or CCIE designation preferred.
OR Equivalent combination of education and experience. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS / ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE : Extensive experience with different firewalls is required (Palo Alto, Cisco etc.
Expertise knowledge of TCP / IP and related protocols and with collecting and evaluating HTTPS & TCP / IP dumps using Wireshark, tcpdump, and similar tools.
Microsoft certifications such as MCSE 2003, MCITP are nice to have. Experience with anti-spam and patch management tools is required.
Experience with VPNs (IP Sec and SSL), encryption, remote access and DNS / DHCP is required. Experience with RADIUS and wireless technologies is required.
Demonstrated ability to organize and analyze data. Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to change. Demonstrated strong analytical, organization, conceptual and decision-making skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
