Job Title : Heavy-Duty Cleaner for Medical & Dental Facility

Generations Cleaning is an expanding and dynamic company that provides professional cleaning services to a wide variety of commercial clients, including large retail stores, condominiums, co-ops, apartment buildings, offices, medical facilities, and industrial / manufacturing sites. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add dedicated and experienced team members to support our valued clients.

Position Overview : We are currently seeking a full-time, reliable, and hardworking Heavy-Duty Cleaner for a medical and dental facility located in Toronto. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, a friendly demeanor, and a strong work ethic. Previous experience in a similar cleaning role, particularly in healthcare settings, is highly preferred.

Job Details :

  • Job Type : Part-time.
  • Schedule : Monday to Thursday (4 days per week).
  • Shift : 7 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM.
  • Wage : $18.00 per hour.
  • Location : Medical and Dental Facility, Toronto.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Common Area Cleaning :

    • Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including foyers, seating areas, and hallways.

  • Ensure that all waiting areas are tidy, sanitized, and visually appealing for visitors.
  • Exam Room Maintenance :

    • Thoroughly clean exam rooms, including wiping down all surfaces and disinfecting high-touch areas.

  • Sanitize medical equipment surfaces as needed, ensuring the space is prepared for patient use.
  • Bathroom Sanitation :

    • Clean and sanitize all bathroom facilities, including wiping down surfaces, mopping floors, and ensuring a hygienic environment.

  • Floor Care :

    • Vacuum and mop all common areas, including hallways and waiting rooms, ensuring cleanliness and safety for foot traffic.

  • Waste Management :

    • Remove garbage and recycling from designated areas.

  • Re-line bins and ensure proper disposal of waste according to facility standards.
  • Surface Sanitization :

    • Regularly sanitize all surfaces, including counters, exam room beds, chairs, and other high-touch areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and patients.

    Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cleaning role, ideally within a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work independently, managing time and responsibilities effectively.
  • Demonstrated dedication to maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
  • A positive, professional, and friendly demeanor when interacting with staff and clients.
  • Must pass a background check prior to employment.
