What You’ll Do :
Partner with leaders to provide strategic HR guidance on people-related matters.Support employee relations by coaching managers, resolving conflicts, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with policies.Lead initiatives to enhance workplace culture, engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).Oversee leave of absence and return-to-work programs, ensuring smooth transitions.Drive learning and development opportunities to upskill employees and support career growth.Analyze HR data to inform decisions and improve workforce strategies.Champion company values daily interactions, fostering a strong and inclusive culture.Guide leaders through change management and organizational transformations.What You Need :
Proven experience in employee relations and performance management within a construction-related environment.Expertise in unionized workplaces, supporting both hourly and salaried employees across multiple locations.Strong working knowledge of BC Employment Standards, WorkSafeBC regulations, and labor laws.Skilled in policy interpretation, development, and process improvement.
