Join us for an opportunity to work with the best game development teams in the world. We are looking for a Software Architect to join the Tools Development and Automation team supporting BioWare, Motive, Cliffhanger, Maxis, Full Circle, and Mobile.
You will work with Quality Assurance and Game Development teams to create tools and technical strategies. Our goal is to improve automation infrastructure and increase efficiencies in the Game Development and QA processes.
You will report to the Group Technical Director and will help develop an in-depth understanding of product designs, use EA proprietary tools to create unique automated tests, form test strategies for implementation of technologies, and think laterally to identify requirements, roadblocks, or efficiencies.
This role is open for hybrid work from our Vancouver offices or remote from Canada.

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI / QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental / adoption leave), extended health / dental / vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and a retirement plan for regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
