Job Requirements :

Proficient knowledge in web-based application testing.
Nice to have backend database testing experience.
Knowledge of JIRA, HP ALM, and Confluence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative problem solver and quick learner.
Able to work independently or collaborate with others on a project team.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Experience with status reporting.
Good to have skills : Knowledge of automation tools is desired.
Banking domain experience.
Experience with open-source API test frameworks such as RESTAssured.
Experience with Git, Linux, and / or macOS.
Experience with shell scripting in Windows and / or Linux.

Special Requirements :

Clear perspective on what web services are, how RESTful web services work, and messaging in web services.

Ability to work in an agile environment, understanding agile concepts, story sizing, test strategy, etc.

Strong exposure to API testing with a thorough understanding of the internals of web service APIs at the message level (understanding of HTTP request and response messages, response codes, and error handling).

Immediate hands-on exposure to Java programming and clarity on basic concepts of Java.

Understanding of client-server models in terms of web services.
