Job Title : Logistics Coordinator

Focus over-the-road shipments across North America, handling all different types of freight from general commodities to high value commodities, food, agricultural, construction and more.

Looking for a Logistics Coordinator who posses good experience who is willing to work after-hour schedule or rotation schedule (after-hours, weekends, and days), someone who is a hard working individual who is honest, mature and reliable.

Responsibilities

Organizing operations and handle all request for over the road shipments (full truck load, LTL, oversized, etc)

Taking responsibility and performing tasks related to all moves for accounts assigned to you

Carrier relations and to negotiate rates and confirm details of each shipment

Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients

Be able to handle several projects at the same time including track and trace

Support with custom clearances (available after-hours / weekend on-call)

Follow a shipment from beginning to end and ensure all paperwork is processed properly

Qualifications

1 year experience in 3PL or brokerage industry

Hard worker who is reliable and enjoys getting the job done

Exceptional customer service skills

Organized, detail-oriented – excellent follow-up skills are essential

Ability to work in a collaborative / team environment;

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

English is required, French, Punjabi, Hindi and Spanish is an asset
