Job Description
CEDA’s shop in Fort McMurray offers a first-class culture of professionals, great equipment and our mandate of doing the work right the first time is the pride we bring to the shop every day.
The shift will be either a 7x7 or 14x14, 12hr days based out of our truck shop at 180 MacLennan Cres, in Fort McMurray, AB. Travel and accommodation will not be provided.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Preventative maintenance on Hydrovacs, Wet Vaccuum, Combo and Water trucks; High Pressure Water Blasting Equipment, Highway tractors and trailers (Peterbilt, Western Star, Kenworth)Ongoing diagnostic and repair of diesel engines & after treatment. (Cummins, CAT, Detroit, and John Deere)Hydraulic & PTO diagnostic and repairClutches, transmissions & differentialsVacuum pump & blower repairBurner diagnostic & repairCommercial Vehicle InspectionsTroubleshoot issues, inspect equipment and replace or repair defective partsInterpret work ordersWork alongside apprentices and delegate workAttend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulationsRole Specifications
Must be a registered (On-Road) Apprentice.Valid Class 5 license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is requiredValid Class 1 or 3 license would be an assetWeight handling of up to 50 lbsExperience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is an assetAble to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol testAble to provide your own toolsSkills
