We are looking for a results-oriented and customer focused Business Development Manager for Northeast Ontario.
You need to reside in Sudbury or North Bay.
This is an individual contributor role.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
- Implement business development strategies for a targeted territory;
- Analyze active and potential customers and set up an action plan specific to their needs;
- Increase market shared by offering our complete degree solution;
- Strengthen the team’s commitment towards common goals;
- Develop and maintain exemplary relationships with customers, partners, colleagues and vendors;
- Optimize customer profitability through various initiatives;
- Develop strategies for new contracts and renewals;
- Resolve the OHS challenges of clients by proposing innovative solutions trough a consultative approach.
THE SUCCESSUL CANDIDATE
- Is an entrepreneurial self-starter with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals;
- Has a passion for excellence, a strong desire to succeed and a commitment to personal and professional development;
- Has excellent communication and relationship building skills with the disciplined planning and execution abilities that are essential for this role;
- Exhibits strong computer skills and working knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office and has a valid driver’s license;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a self-starting autonomous environment from a home office setting;
- Has a desire to grow as a leader within SPI.
- Has a proven ability to sell high, deep and wide in customer organizations.
- Is a successful leader through direct and / or indirect leadership.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Consultative seller;
- 5 years + experience in a similar role;
- Extensive experience and contacts to match within a wide range of markets.
- Experience with Health and Safety products and solutions a definite plus;
- Someone who can travel;
- Valid driver’s license.
