Calling all 442A electricians in the Oakville area!

Our client, a fantastic company in the packaging industry is looking for their next addition to their maintenance team.

This is a great opportunity on a day shift, with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair injection moulding machines, packaging equipment, labelling and printing machines
  • PLC troubleshooting - Control Logic, Allen Bradley SLC 500, Siemens, Vision Systems
  • Ability to work on 24VDC systems and a working knowledge of 120-, 220 / 240- and 480-volt power
  • Electrical building maintenance
  • Oversee electrical apprentice and act as a mentor and support to them
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Duties as otherwise assigned
  • Qualifications

  • 442A electrical license NEEDED
  • 2-5 years working in a manufacturing setting- bonus if you come from the plastic industry
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting skills
  • Good blueprint reading skills
  • Good communication skills- both written and verbal
