Job descriptionPost-Secondary education in Civil, Architectural, Structural or Mechanical Technology is preferred, however, less education combined with appropriate experience will be taken into consideration Minimum 3 years’ experience with drafting / detailing and experience using a computerized drafting software package Ability to work in a steady and even pace to promote accuracy and quality of work High attention to detail Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset Ability to read architectural and structural drawings is a requirement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with individuals of various disciplines A team player with the desire to work collaboratively with others to improve existing processes
Responsibilities
- Detailing architectural and structural precast concrete members, including bridges, building and miscellaneous members
- Create Precast building layouts
- Working with structural and architectural contract drawings
- Other duties as assigned.
