Role Description

EdgeTunePower Inc. is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join its dynamic team in a full-time hybrid role based in North Vancouver, BC, with the flexibility for some remote work. In this role, you will lead mission-critical projects involving real-time grid solutions, DER integration, and grid-edge technologies . You will collaborate across technical teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure project success from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and expedite multiple projects involving grid integration of DERs, C-HIL testing, and digital grid control systems , ensuring projects meet scope, budget, and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to identify potential bottlenecks and prioritize tasks for timely completion.
  • Oversee project inspections related to energy management systems, power system modeling, and validation tests .
  • Lead logistics management, including hardware procurement, coordination with EPC companies , and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications, especially in areas like ERCOT compliance, unit model validation, and grid modernization initiatives .
  • Provide progress updates and detailed reports to key stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and continually improve project management practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management within technical, power systems, or engineering environments , particularly involving energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in expediting, inspections, and logistics management , with strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in the energy, utility, or grid modernization sectors , especially in projects involving renewable energy, DERs, or grid control systems, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with control systems, C-HIL testing, and energy management technologies is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related fields.
  • Certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 are a plus.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation in clean energy.
