Job Description :

Job Title : Engineer - Automation (Mid Level)

Location : Vancouver, British Columbia

Duration : 06+ months Extendable

Pay rate : $96.20 / hr on T4

Experience : 5 years or more

Education : Bachelor’s degree electrical engineering or related STEM Major.

Required Experience

Understanding of DCS architecture and demonstrated hands on experience with Rockwell PlantPAx, Logix 5000, FT View.
Knowledge of common industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet / IP and OPC.
GAMP 5 (V-Model) documentation.
Sound understanding of computer systems validation (CSV) in a regulated environment such as execution of FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ using good documentation practices (GDP).
Cross-functional teamwork, coordination, and communication skills.

Tasks and Deliverables :

Perform automation configuration, commissioning, and startup activities for bioprocess systems running on PlantPAx.

Perform system testing, including preparation of documentation such as test reports and change controls.

Serve as the primary onsite contact with the extended team for automation related questions and concerns during commissioning and qualification phases.

Coordinate with remote subject matter experts to troubleshoot and diagnose issues and generate potential solutions.
