Role

We are looking for an experienced Appian BPM Lead with at least 5 years of expertise in platform configuration, customization, and workflow automation. The role involves ensuring architectural integrity, best practices, and seamless integration of third-party systems while mentoring junior consultants and leading platform optimization efforts.

Responsibilities :

  • Advanced knowledge of configuration / customization of the platform.
  • Agrees to the technical architecture and ensures that the architectural integrity is maintained.
  • Ensures adherence to standards and best practices (e.g., source code control, code reviews etc.)
  • Coordinates the team’s day-to-day technical activities.
  • Participate in platform architecture discussions, ensuring alignment with client business strategies.
  • Interacts with the Project Manager frequently and provides feedback on progress, alerts him of risks and helps the PM develop a strategy to mitigate these risks.
  • Implement best practices for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid platforms to meet client needs.
  • Mentor junior platform consultants and lead client-facing platform optimization efforts.
  • Map business processes to available features on the platform.
  • Knowledge of various 3rd party apps available on platform’s marketplace.
  • Participate in requirement gathering and grooming sessions with business stakeholders.

Requirements :

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed University.
  • At least 5 years of Appian BPM experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the platform including BPM Fundamentals, Architecture Components, Technical Features such as Designer Features, Configurations in Appian, Process Models etc.
  • Should have hands-on experience in design and development in Appian BPM including components such as Tempo, Mobility Features, Forums, Discussions, Pages, Smart Services, Reports, Deployments, SAML Configuration etc.
  • Should have good knowledge of Bitbucket, Git, Ajax, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, SOAP API, REST API etc.
  • Should have design / architecture experience building business workflow automation and business rules execution. Considerations are needed to determine and help in establishing some enterprise standards.
  • Have good working knowledge of Appian RPA, IDP and tasks.
  • L1 / L2 Appian Certification is MUST.

    Extensive Experience with CDTs, Expression Rules, Connected Systems, 3rd Party system integration with Appian, Legacy system integration with Appian, Sync Records, Appian Connected Environments Deployments, Creation, Debugging & Enhancement of Process Models, experience with process reporting dashboard and configuration, Appian Admin Console & Configuration Knowledge, Should have worked previously on system architecture and design, and also have hands-on experience with RPA and document processing in Appian.
