About the Opportunity

Reporting to the IMIT Manager - Development and Testing, this role will lead the development of innovative, high-performance applications. You will work across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications tailored to user needs.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following :

  • 5+ years’ experience in Android application development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Expertise in Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose
  • Deep understanding of architectural patterns like MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture
  • Experience with debugging, profiling tools, and testing frameworks
  • Proficiency with Git and version control best practices
  • Awareness of secure coding practices and data privacy standards
  • Experience with integrating APIs, including third-party APIs for data exchange and application functionality
  • Familiarity with the following tools and frameworks will be considered an asset :
  • Firebase & GA, Gitlab Pipelines, Fastlane
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security standards for handling sensitive health-related information (e.g., Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Privacy of Personal Health Information Act (PHIPA))
  • Experience integrating with third-party healthcare APIs, such as laboratory systems, insurance providers, or patient monitoring devices
  • Familiarity with tools like Firebase and analytics platforms
  • Experience with both Agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Certifications in mobile development or related areas

    40.15 - $50.19 Hourly
