Healthcare Assistant

Job Description

Our client is in search for BC Registered Health Care Aides for their new long-term care facility in Comox, BC. Responsible to the Director, Residential Services and working under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse; this position performs a variety of routine nursing procedures and related duties necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents.

Education and Experience :

• Grade 10, plus graduation from a recognized BC Health Care Aide Program.
• Fully vaccinated.
• Registered or planning to become registered within the BC Care Aide Registry.

Skills and Abilities :

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to deal with others effectively.

Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Ability to organize work.

Ability to operate related equipment.
