In this job, you will...

  • Partner with leadership teams to design, implement and lead the strategic personnel plan for IT and develop roadmaps to deliver on key competencies.
  • Leverage key data to provide insights for the development of short and long-term strategies with the goal of enhancing employee experiences.
  • Support the business to design organizational structures and processes that enable agility, innovation and creativity.
  • Support leaders in creating work environments where diverse backgrounds, culture and attributes are celebrated through collaboration with DEIR experts and stakeholders.
  • Manage change for organizational restructures within divisions and partner with enterprise change as needed for cross-functional work.
  • Assist with designing programs that support organization-wide deliverables.
  • Ensure leadership is informed of major initiatives impacting people and programs within lines of business.
  • Manage annual position planning and budget maintenance.
  • Develop talent through mentorship and exposure to key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with all other functions and teams to ensure the right information is shared at the right time for successful implementation of key initiatives and communication.

You have...

  • A deep understanding of business strategy and how to align HR strategies with overall goals of the IT department.
  • An understanding of IT industry trends, technologies, and the specific needs of IT professionals.
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills to act as a resource for your specialized area, provide advice and coaching.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • A keen ability to assess and recommend courses of action on industry, political and economic trends as well as assessing risks or opportunities that may affect your business groups.
  • Empathic leadership skills and an ability to develop talent, leaning into strengths and removing barriers.
  • Robust experience providing strategic support and coaching to Executive-level leaders.
  • Experience providing HR Business Partner-level support to IT teams and related technical groups.
  • Experience influencing across organizations, engaging stakeholders to drive transformational change.
  • Expertise in organizational design within an enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated success implementing programs which have positively impacted culture and employee experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within large HR team.
  • Experience leading collective bargaining is an asset.
