Summary of Job
Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) at Kyowa Kirin are the field-based extension of our Medical Affairs department. MSLs are scientifically trained professionals who possess strong clinical and / or scientific backgrounds whose role is to be a resource of fair-balanced and scientifically rigorous information to the healthcare community.
Essential Functions :
Job Requirements : Education
Advanced clinical / science degree or health care professional credentials required (MD, PhD, RPh, PharmD, NP, PA, MS or equivalent), Doctorate preferred.
Experience
Three to five years of MSL experience. Therapeutic area experience preferred.
Technical Skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Non-Technical Skills
Demonstrates scientific expertise – viewed as a scientific resource by peers. Outstanding interpersonal skills, including building strong working relationships, demonstrating high emotional intelligence, and managing and resolving conflicts. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation). Proven track record of success. Commitment to the highest ethical, legal, regulatory and scientific standards.
