Position : Rental Account Manager

Type : Fulltime Permanent

Location : Surrey, BC

Work Schedule : Monday-Friday (8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm)

Position Overview

Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing has an exciting opening for a Rental Account Manager based out of Surrey, BC. The Rental Account Manager is responsible for securing long-term full-service rental agreements, cultivates contractual maintenance business, develops, and maintains excellent customer relations and manages the accounts to the highest level of customer service to exceed all customer expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Actively market the commercial truck rental product line of Velocity Truck Rental & Leasing Canada. Develop and execute an effective marketing plan designed to produce measurable results.

Call on at least multiple new prospects each week in person and electronically.

Submit Full-Service Rental (FSR) leads to increase the business.

Manage the utilization, revenue, and expenses of the assigned rental fleet.

Complete daily yard checks.

Working with the accounting team for the management of the accounts receivable of their assigned customers.

Ensure the cosmetic condition of all rental units are ready.

Confirm all insurance documents and ensuring rental units are finalized and complete before parting.

Skills & Qualifications

Two - Five (2-5)+ years of related sales experience preferred.

Two (2)+ years of vehicle rental experience (Truck OEM) experience preferred.

Must be detail oriented with ability to multi-task.

Must maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a high volume fast-paced environment with a customer service focus.

Excellent organization, planning and time management skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written.

Must work well independently, as well as within a team environment.

Above average computer skills.

Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.

Must possess a basic understanding of business finance.
